Laser intervention

Appliance of light isn’t new method in a medicine. Even many centuries people have used healing property of soon light on human organism. Excelent affecting polarized light have showed in a research of laser’s light .Main characteristic that polarized light has is that all waves spread in the same level. That kind light can be made by reflection in a multilayer mirror and focused by lenses. That polarization has high grade affection.

Laser light is monochromatic and coherent which means that all waves concentrate their energy to achieve high affection on the treated part off body. CO2 laser using infrared light 10600 nm wavelength. That light can penetrate 2,5 cm in a tissue dependently of term of the exposition and is hence absorbed and converted to heat on the very surfase of the tissue. That makes the CO2 lasers very suitable to cut and evaporate tissue.

Laser light has influence on cellular level achieving "reorganization" cell membrane and coagulation cellular proteins – removes infected cells and lead to returning of normal function the other cells.

The CO2 laser beam is focused by a lens in the handpiece in such a way that a sharp focus appears outside the handpiece at a defined distance from the end. After this focus the beam is divergent, wich menas that the cross-section increases linearly with the distance from the focus.

In a region around the focus, also called the cutting zone, the beam has a very high power density and evaporates tissue rapidly which gives a good cutting effect. Best effect laser beam has in continual mode because of more efektive coagulating and minimal termal damige tissue.

Laser light has excelent results in a treatment off: infected processes, autoimunological, kondyloma, nipple, wound, inflammation process, removing of precancer celss, etc. In gynecological practise laser have more frekvent appliance for removing cervical lesions, vulvar condylomas, for performing superficial vulvectomy or a conization.
